Frequently Asked Questions
How many days does one pack last?
Each pack has 9 sachets, one per day — so a pack covers nine rituals. Many families use it on the traditional days (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Amavasya) instead of daily.
Are the nine sachets different?
The ingredients are the same in every sachet. Each one carries a different sacred symbol and its story, so the ritual feels a little different each day.
Can I burn it inside the house?
No. Dhrishti is for outdoor use only — near the entrance or outside gate, on a balcony, or any open space. It contains camphor and should always be burned on the heat-safe plate with good ventilation.
Who can perform the ritual?
Traditionally an elder or any family member performs it for another person, circling the sachet from head to toe three times. You can also perform it for yourself with a sincere intention.
What do I do with the residue?
Once it has fully cooled, throw the residue in the dustbin and reuse the heat-safe plate for the next ritual.
Is this a medical or scientific remedy?
No. Dhrishti is a cultural and spiritual practice meant as a mindful ritual. It is not a medical treatment or a scientifically proven way of removing negative energy.
